This Privacy Policy describes what information of yours will be collected, how the information will be used, and how you may exercise your rights of collection, correction, and/or deletion of your information by UXARMY when you access create an account at UXARMY (UserAdvocate Community). By using the Services, you consent that Your information will be processed in accordance with this Policy.

We will not use or share your personal information with anyone except as described in this document. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information we collect through offline sources. All information collected through our forms and other online sources shall be limited to the purposes explained in this Privacy Policy.

What types of information is collected?

We store any information you provide us when you complete our Forms or when you decide to accept an invitation to participate in a test.

Why is my information stored?

UXARMY offers usability testing and user research and market research services to our Clients, and may share information about you and the tests done by you with our clients.

We may use some of the information to improve our site and our services

We may use information we collect, including audio / screen recordings of your interactions during tests that you decided to participate in. This information will be used to promote our brand.

We use your personal information to communicate with you about research opportunities, seek testimonials, etc.

What information is collected?

When you create an account as a UXARMY Tester/Participant or submit your information via a survey, we may collect personally identifiable information about you, such as your Name, email, WhatsApp / WeChat / phone number, LinkedIn Profile, your IP address, and other related information, your Paypal email, gender and date of birth, your Nationality and state/province of residence. Information about your devices, software you use, your education level, income, family status, employment.

If the user research involves Camera, we may collect your face and surroundings, your device screen, and your voice comments. This is only used for research purposes. We use technologies such as Cookies. These technologies are used for different business goals, related to user research.

These technologies may be used in analyzing trends, administering UXARMY websites or client websites, tracking your movements around the site, knowing where a visitor comes from, and gathering demographic information about our user base as a whole.

Cookies may also be used for settings, user authentication. Rejecting cookies would result in suboptimal experience of our services.

This website uses Google Analytics or Baidu Tongji (百度统计), an analytics tool to track user activity, page content, time on page, navigation and other related data.

The website may use other software, to track user behavior, like mouse-clicks, scrolls, and screenshot and recordings of the browser screen activities.

How is my information used?

UXARMY uses the information to send you most relevant user research opportunities. These opportunities are sent to you via email and other forms of notifications.

When is my Personally Identifiable information shared?

UXARMY may store personal information in locations to our Cloud providers like Alababa or Amazon Web Services. Identifiable information is only shared in the following circumstances:


a. With a Client as part of the qualitative research e.g. Remote user interviews, Focus groups and Diary studies.
b. Rarely for Marketing purposes, in which case we will seek your explicit consent before posting content that involves your face.

UXARMY will take reasonable precautions to prevent such information from being downloaded from our site and will undertake every reasonable measure to limit access to viewing only. However, UXARMY cannot guarantee that third parties will not find technical workarounds to download such information.

UXARMY may be acquired by a third party.

UXARMY is under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any valid legal process, such as subpoenas, search warrants, court orders, other valid law enforcement obligations, to protect itself or others, to establish or exercise its legal rights, or defend against legal claims.

When is my non-Personally Identifiable Information shared?

UXARMY may share non-Personally Identifiable shared in the following circumstances:

How long is my personal information kept?

We keep your personal information to enable your continued use of UXARMY for as long as required in order to fulfill the relevant purposes described in this Privacy Notice.

How is my information protected?

All information you provide to UXARMY is stored on secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any usernames or passwords associated with any account that you use to provide the testing services and for monitoring all activity under your account.

You may not disclose or share your username or password with any third parties or use them for any unauthorized purpose. You shall be deemed responsible, and you agree to assume full responsibility for all activities, acts, or omissions of anyone that occur under your account.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although UXARMY will use commercially reasonable efforts to protect your personal data, it cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted over the Internet. Any transmission is at your own risk. Once UXARMY has received your information, it will use commercially reasonable procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access.

General data protection regulation

UXARMY complies with the European Union’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) in regard to the transfer of personal data from the EU to Singapore and the United States. UXARMY has implemented the appropriate safeguards to ensure compliance with domestic and international data protection laws.

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services and when this information is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

You have the right to request access to, correct, and delete your personal data in relation to data that is not being provided to a Client, such as audiovisual recordings and other test data related to tests and projects you may have participated in, which shall be retained for at least one year from the date of the finalization of the contractual agreement we have with the applicable client of UXARMY. You may also object to our processing of your personal data or ask that we restrict the processing of your personal data in certain instances. Children under the age of 16 years

Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. For that reason, UXARMY does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 18 without parental consent. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 18 without parental consent, we will permanently delete that information as quickly as possible. You acknowledge, understand and agree that UXARMY does not have control over any third-party website or software or software prototype for which you provide testing services or for which the Website may link to. UXARMY will not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, products, or services available on such other websites or software or software prototype.

Our Site includes social media features, such as the LinkedIn link, that run on our Site. These features may collect your IP address and which page you are visiting on our site and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function correctly.
